Process: The doing of it.
We love making our artwork with found materials. Anything we see is fair game! It is fun to imagine how things like shells, jewelry, cupcake papers, strainers, and glasses can be turned into birds and bugs.
Find it!
We call it the “raven’s eye” as we look for anything that strikes our fancy. It might be the color, texture, shape, or shine that makes us wonder how it could be used. “Wouldn’t that make a great bug, leaf, beak, or wing?”
Build it.
We start with a blank canvas and build it up from there. Glue, wire, thread, and pins connect the objects to the surface.
